How far in advance should i arrive for my appointment?

You should arrive a couple of minutes before your appointment time

What happens if I'm late for my appointment?

Please understand that if you are late for your appointment it will be necessary to shorten or reschedule your treatment time so as not to delay the service for the next client.

Cancellations

24hrs notice is requested and we will reschedule your appointment at the earliest convenience.

How much time should I set aside for an appointment?

Depending on the treatment you are having, you should set aside at least 30 minutes.

Do you have treatments available for men?

We have equal treatments available for both men and women.

Gift Certificate?

When using a gift certificate to make an appointment please quote the gift certificate number. Please bring the gift certificate to your appointment.

Will I be able to experience a treatment if I am pregnant?

If you are pregnant, you may want to avoid treatments using deep pressure or treatments involving heat. Please inform out therapist of your condition upon scheduling your treatment, enabling us to assist you in selecting the most appropriate treatment.

What do I wear during a beauty treatment?

At all times the customer's comfort comes first. Depending on the service you will be offered a gown or to simply wear your undergarments.

How do I know what kind of facial to have?

It is difficult to choose a facial, if it is your first time. The best approach is to schedule a deluxe facial and the therapist will consult with you on your skin and customize the service to your needs.

Can I receive any services if I am experiencing any foot or nail conditions?

We cannot provide you with any treatments on your nails if you have a nail fungus or any similar problem.

How long should the hair be prior to waxing?

In order for the wax adhere the hair should be ¼ inch long. Usually 5 - 6 weeks between treatments is appropriate. If the hair is not long enough, the appointment will have to be reschedule.

Since having a baby my hair seems to be in very poor condition - split ends and generally bad condition. What treatments can i have to fix the problem?

Once a week use a deep conditioning treatment on your hair to replenish vital moisture. Also when washing your hair make sure the final rinse is done with ice cold water as it closes and flattens the cuticle for maximum shine.

Hair Loss?

Don't panic!! Every time you shampoo your hair you loose about 30 - 50 hairs, more if your hair is really long. Don't worry next time when you see hair coming out it's perfectly normal.

Problem with dandruff?

Serious dandruff id thought to be caused by a fungal yeast. Pityrosporum ovale and should be treated with a special anti dandruff shampoo.

A dry scalp is often mistaken for dandruff but is usually caused by product build up thats is not shampooed out properly. Always rinse throughly with luke warm water until the all rinse out. Try using a deep cleansing shampoo and cleansing treatments.

My hair is so greasy?

A greasy scalp is usually caused by over active sebaceous glands . Apply a frequent use cleanser gently to the scalp. Don't use your fingers to massage as this will increase activity in the sebaceous glands which produce natural scalp oils.

Another problem with regular washing is that the roots are greasy and the ends become dry and brittle. Apply conditioner to mid length and the ends rather than the roots.
